Time Away Deserves Intention
Stepping away from your work—whether for months or just moments—isn’t just time off.
Done thoughtfully, it can reshape how you think about your work, yourself, and what comes next.
Support for Creating Space and Clarity
When work feels off or misaligned, the answer isn’t immediate action—it’s space.
That space might look like a sabbatical, a shorter intentional break, or small moments built into your current work.
I’m Liz, and I believe work needs space to breathe.
I’m a professor who studies identity and meaning, and I believe we need better ways to create space during our careers—and to extend its impact once we return to work.
Over the past decade, I’ve experienced multiple forms of stepping away from work. Each has reshaped how I think about identity, purpose, and the role work plays in our lives.
Both formal and informal breaks can open space for reflection, renewal, and realignment. That’s why I created Sabbatical Studio: to support accomplished professionals in creating intentional space for clarity and direction in their work.
Start shaping What comes next
A 5-day guided experience to help you create space, reflect, and begin shaping meaningful time away—whether that becomes a sabbatical or a shorter intentional break.
