Get more from your sabbatical
Sabbaticals are rare opportunities to reflect and grow – professionally and personally.
I started Sabbatical Studio to help people at every stage of the sabbatical journey, and to support those pursuing self-directed renewal outside a traditional leave. My goal is to help you carry the clarity and growth of your break into everyday life.

Your Sabbatical, Supported
Make the most of your sabbatical with guidance before, during, and after your leave.
I’m Liz, and I believe time away matters.
I’m a professor who studies identity and meaning, and I believe we need better ways to prepare for time away, and to extend its impact once we return.
Over the past decade, I’ve experienced multiple forms of stepping away from work. Each has reshaped how I think about identity, purpose, and the role work plays in our lives.
Both formal and informal time away can open space for reflection, renewal, and realignment. That’s why I started Sabbatical Studio: to support people in planning meaningful time away, and returning with clarity and intention.
